Two Albums in the works in 2020

Some exciting news coming up! Currently in the works on a number of projects simultaneously, but I have been collaborating with some great old friends from NY to record and release some great old songs we wrote together back in our twenties. Sometimes life gets in the way of your best laid plans, but that doesn't mean you can't go back and pick up from where you left off!

That project will be called The Harry Rags (we were a bit Kinks-obsessed back then), and there are some really wonderful songs in our repertoire that are begging to see the light of day! You'll definitely be updates as we get further along in the mixing process. Currently working on recording as many of them as possible, and the main question will be whether they will be released as separate EPs or a whole album. Depends on how the process goes and how quickly we get through them all. There are some clips already up on the website, but stay tuned for more uploads and news on this project!

The other pop music project on the plate is my "solo" work, so to speak, entitled Beaux Rêves. That's mostly going to be me playing most of the instruments that I'm competenet enough to play, focusing on my more recent songs and compositions in the pop, folk and rock realm. I've already got some amazing contributions from the brilliant Keegan Donlon to really start bringing these tracks alive, and I'm really excited to get the ball rolling and release a lot of these tracks. Once again, the main thing is deciding whether the songs will be best placed in the setting of a full-length album or an EP. Despite the new landscape in today's world regarding the idea that the album is dead and the artist should just release songs as often as possible (which definitely has a lot of up-sides), there's still that part of me that is faithful to my first love - a classic, well-crafted album. So we'll see as the process chugs along. There's already some clips uploaded to the site, more to come soon. Stay tuned!
